Adela Ciepiela, 82, passed away Friday evening surrounded by her family at Rush Medical Center. As a resident of Arlington Heights and former resident of Podlipie,Poland, she will be missed by all those whose lives shes touched. She is the beloved wife of the late Zygmunt, mother of Edward (Elizabeth) Ciepiela, Maria Kuklewicz, Alfreda (Piotr) Chelmecki, Zofia (Franciszek) Podobinski, and loving grandmother of Robert (Monika) Ciepiela, Thomas, Edward and Angelica Ciepiela, Ania (Pawel) Siwiec, Paul Chelmecki, Tomasz and Sylvester Podobinski, and great grandmother of Dominic and Oscar Siwiec. Known as Babcia to her family, she was very happy to have all her children and their families surrounding her throughout the years. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her great-grandchildren and family. Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday from4:00 to 9:00 pm and funeral services Tuesday at10:00 am at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago. Procession to St. Constance Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Per her wishes, the final resting place will be in Poland beside her late husband. For more info 773-736-2300
