Adriana Lucia Haddad (Mion) Obituary
Adriana "Odge" Haddad nee Mion, 48, of Chicago Illinois, surrounded by her loving family and friends, passed away quietly in her home after her battle with cancer, on Saturday, January 7th, 2011.
Born in Chicago on January 21st, 1963 to Patricia and Enzo Mion, Adriana grew up with sisters Francesca and Paola in the Jefferson Park neighborhood attending St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Grade School, Mother Theodore Guerin High School, Northern Illinois University (DeKalb, IL) and St. Norbert College (De Pere, WI) where she graduated with a degree in business and was a beloved sister of the Theta Phi Sorority.
Predeceased by her mother Patricia Mion, Adriana is survived by husband Khalil Haddad, Jr., son Khalil Joseph, III, daughter Lia Grace, father Enzo, sisters Francesca Mion and Paola LeCleir, brother- in-law Gregory LeCleir, Sr., nephews Gregory, Jr., and Lucas, niece Emily, and beloved canine "partner in crime", Stella. Adriana is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Known for her larger than life exuberance and unwavering support of the Chicago Cubs, she realized her dream of working at Wrigley Field; she prided herself on being a wonderful mother, a loving wife, a fiercely loyal sister, and a loving daughter and friend.
Adriana wished to thank those who have helped over the past years caring for her and her family and providing so much support and kindness. She and Khalil have been truly comforted and humbled by the continuous outpouring of love and support.
A wake in celebration of Adriana's life will be held at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 North Austin Avenue, Chicago, on Friday, January 13th from 3 PM to 9 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 4646 North Austin Avenue, Chicago. The celebrant will be Father Scott Donohue. Interment Private.
