Benedict F. Olechny "Benny", age 99. Passed away peacefully February 16, 2022. Proud Navy Veteran; beloved husband of the late Frances; loving father of Patsy Krauleidis; cherished grandpa of Steve, Rick, and Mike (Brandee) Krauleidis; proud great-grandpa of Max Krauleidis; fond uncle to many. Benny had a true zest for life. He and a spit fire and marched to he beat of his own drum. Benny enjoyed taking his grandchildren  on trips and tracking the daily stock markets through reading the Chicago Tribune newspaper. He was a proud retired Plummer. His sarcasm, laugh and smile will be missed by many.

A private inurnment will take place at Maryhill Cemetery with his family.
