Bernadette Schmidt, 83, of Chicago IL, passed away on July 4, 2022. Beloved wife of Robert F. Schmidt (Ret. CPD) for over 63 years. Adoring mother of Noreen (Craig) Heffernan and Roberta (Anthony) Marchiori. Cherished Busia of Anthony R. Marchiori and Anastasia (Michael) Rice. Dear sister of Virginia (the late Charles) Lynch. She was a treasured aunt to her nieces and nephews and a loving godmother to many. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave. from 3-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Monica Parish, 5136 N. Nottingham, on July 8, 2022 at 10am. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, Niles, IL.
