Bertha L. Apodaca, nee Brown, one of God's most beloved daughters was called home to the Lord on April 19, 2015. Bertha was born on July 14th, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois and eventually came to marry the late Mr. Joseph B. Apodoca. She was a devoted sister to the late Homer (Gladys), the late Dorothy, the late Marie (the late Irvin), the late Mildred, the late June, the late Alice (the late Tony) and the late Robert (the late Amy) as she was the last surviving member of the Brown family. Bertha will be remembered for her quiet demeanor, her generosity to charities and her unquestionable faith. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Visitation will commence at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago on Friday, April 24th at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery.
