Chester H. Aszklar, age 92; Proud US Army, 82nd Airborne, WWII Veteran. Chester Jumped in the invasion of Sicily on July 9, 1943 and was wounded. On Sept. 9, 1943, boat landed in Town of Maiori, Italy, He was later captured in Italy on September 16, 1943. He was held as a POW in Germany until he was liberated by the Russians on May 1, 1945. Chester is the beloved brother of Leonard (the late Marilyn) Binski, Dr. James (Debbie) Binski, the late Norbert (the late Florence) Binski and the late Robert (the late Bernice) Biesiedzinski; dearest uncle to many and friend to all. Visitation Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Prayers Saturday 12 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago to St. Constance Church, Mass 12:30 p.m. Entombment Maryhill Cemetery.
