Dawn B. Becker, 63, loving mother of Chantel Becker and Jason Colon; devoted partner of Nancy Colon; cherished grandma of Dream Allen, Jason Colon Jr., and Jaiden Colon; and treasured cousin, aunt, and friend of many.

Those who knew Dawn would say she was a starburst of energy. She was loving, sassy, witty, very welcoming, sometimes stubborn, but had a heart of gold. She was generous, reliable, loyal, gave the best hugs, and was the friend you'd want to have in your corner. Her dancing, cooking, fashionista style, karaoke singing, and flashy ways always made an impact on all who were blessed to have met her. Some would say "I meet her as a stranger, but leave her as a friend… and I hope we meet in heaven where friendship never ends."

Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday January 18, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of life will begin at 6:30 p.m. lead by family and friends sharing at Lawrence Funeral Home 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL 60630. Interment will be private.
