Awe, age 90, originally from Belize, C.A.; son of the late Don Emilio (Sista nee: Zetina) Awe, beloved husband of the late Jacqueline M., nee Harte; loving father of Michael (Cindy), Dennis (Barbara), Kevin (Linda), Katherine Boss, Timothy (Mary Ellen), Sheila (Bob) Broz, Patricia (William) Ponzetti, Patrick (Sandra), Edward, Daniel (Venus) and Nazira (Laurence) Collins; cherished grandfather of Caleb, Elena, Alexandra, Joshua, Valerie (Mike), Jessica (Jason), Alexis, Samuel, Sarah, Lauren, Caitlin, Adam, Audrey, Jack, Julie, Eric, Steven, Jacqueline, Aiden, Colin, Emmit and Teagan; great-grandfather of Mackenzie, Wynter and Giuliana; dearest brother of Marie (the late Asad) Beshara, Nazira Awe and preceded in death by Alicia (Manuel) Figueroa, Salvador (Malaqui) Awe, Joseph (Esperanza) Awe and Amin Awe; brother-in-law of Geraldine (Thomas) Martin and the late Barbara Harte. Fond uncle of Karim, Emilio, Salvador, Amini (nee:Nash) Awe, Amin, David, Tony Figueroa, Azenette Kostecki, Janette Hudspeth-Beshara, the late Joey Beshara , John Beshara and the late Michelle Awe. Dr. Awe was an optometrist in Chicago for 50 years. Visitation Thursday 4 to 9 p.m. Funeral Prayers Friday 9:15 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home 4800 N.
