Efrain Martinez DeLeon, age 95, passed away in Rogers, AR on August, 4th 2024. Born in Huehuetenango, Guatemala in 1929, Efrain and his beloved wife Maria and three children Luis, Byron and Juan relocated to Chicago Illinois in 1968. As a longtime employee of Klein Tools in Chicago, Efrain worked tirelessly to provide for his family. In 2019, Efrain and his wife of 70 years Maria DeLeon moved to Rogers, Arkansas to be near their son Juan and his wife Tracy DeLeon.
Efrain is proceeded in death by his mother, his wife, many brothers and sisters and his son Luis DeLeon. He is survived by his sons Juan DeLeon (Tracy DeLeon), their son Nicholas DeLeon and Byron DeLeon (Sonya DeLeon) and their son's Josef, Johnny and Joshua DeLeon and grandchildren Jason DeLeon and Chelsea DeLeon. Efrain also had two beautiful great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who he and Maria loved dearly.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago IL immediately followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Graveside interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery at 700 N River Road in Des Plaines, IL.
