Gloria M. Byots, age 91. Gloria passed away November 26, 2018 under the loving care of her family. She is survived by her two daughters Nancy (Larry) and Leslie (Manny); grand-daughter Taylor and sister Marilyn; preceded in death by her father Stanley Janczak, mother Catherine (Jurczykowski) and siblings Florence, Leo, Jay, Bob and Lorraine. Gloria worked as a secretary for a candy import company for over 25 years, met Pope John Paul II at the Vatican, loved roller skating, dancing, traveling, cards, word puzzles, and Chicago. Gloria believed you should never stop learning and gave freely of herself and her time. Her greatest achievement in life is how abundantly she loved her family and friends. Memorial Gathering will be held on January 5, 2019 from 2pm-5pm with a Service between 3-4 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home 4800 N. Austin Ave. Chicago.  Interment private.
