Gloria D. Clarke, 93, loving wife of the late Norman; devoted mother of Linda (George) Pattalio, Patrick (Kimberly) Clarke, and Timothy (Sharon) Clarke; treasured sister of Ann Turner and Cindy Cromwell; cherished grandmother of George (Stacey) Pattalio, Gregory (Amber) Pattalio, the late Anthony (Ashly) Pattalio, Thomas (Angela) Pattalio, Margaret (Jonathan) Boynton, Matthew (Delaney) Clarke, Emma Clarke, Ryan Clarke, the late Nathan Clarke, and Katelynn Clarke; great grandma to sixteen; great-great grandma to one with another addition to arrive soon; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Gloria was the kind of woman whose love quietly shaped generations. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she devoted herself to them. She had a remarkable way of balancing hard work with joy. Despite all she gave and accomplished, Gloria remained modest and her generosity knew no bounds. Gloria’s life was a beautiful testament to devotion, humility, and generosity, a legacy that continues to blossom in everyone she touched.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, IL.
