Jadwiga Halicka, age 85, passed away Friday, August 16th, 2013 peacefully in her home. Mrs. Halicka was born September 4th, 1927 in Augustow, Poland; beloved wife and best friend for 67 years of Zygmunt Halicki; loving mother of Barbara (Piotr) Horoszko, Jagoda (Bruno) Trzop, Marian (Jagoda) Halicki and Anna Hudson; adored grandmother of Wojtek Piekarski, Kasia Zukowska,Jessica Trzop,Brian Trzop, Paul Halicki, Maximilian Hudson, Matthew Halicki, Michael Halicki; cherished great-grandmother of four. Jadwiga was a woman of many hearts. Spent most of her life praying for everyone she crossed paths with and reading Polish books. Visitation Sunday August 18th from 3 to 9 pm, prayer service Monday 9:30 am at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago. Procession to St. Constance Church for Mass of Christian Burial 10 am. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
