Janine Lynn Janis, Age 50, of Chicago, Illinois formerly of Rosemont, Illinois, suddenly passed away on May 9, 2018.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and Prayer Service at 2:30 pm on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 North Austin Ave, Chicago.

Janine was the beloved daughter of Erwin F. Janis and the late Karen K Janis; loving sibling of Jennifer J. Janis, Jolene A. (Lino) Checchin, and the late Jeffrey J. Janis; cherished aunt of Samantha, Adam and Nicholas; adoring friend of Steve Yahn, and loved by other family and many friends.

Janine was currently working at Richie's Restaurant in Schiller Park while studying in the Medical Billing and Coding Program at DeVry University.
