Joan M. Andrzejak , 84, of Racine, WI, passed away peacefully after a long illness, Wednesday, April 20, 2016. She was born May 22, 1931 in Chicago, IL where she resided for most of her life. Joan worked for many years at the A&P Corporation, before marrying Stanley A. Andrzejak and becoming a homemaker. She loved time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed many social activities such as dancing, roller skating, and Bingo. Joan is survived by her sister Louise Erlenbach, two daughters, Kathleen Dempsey (Thomas), and Laura Huff (Gary), five grandchildren, Jennifer and Brian Dempsey, and Keith, Nicole and Timothy Huff. Visitation Saturday, April 23, from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M.; prayers 12 P.M. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago.
