John Walter Evans passed away on December 10th at 10:00 p.m. after a year long battle with lymphoma.  John was surrounded by his sisters as he finished this journey in this life. John was a huge lover of Halloween and Christmas and took particular delight in handing out candy this year while wearing his scary costume, which he spent four hours putting together.  Prior to his cancer diagnosis John was a home health provider and provided stellar care to all of his clients.

John loved animals, food and cars.  Any dog he met immediately fell in love with his gentle nature and kind demeanor.

John is survived by his parents, Donald and Judy Evans, his brother Donald Evans II, and his sisters Katie, Sheila, Ellen and Joanne.  He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews who will always remember his over-the-top Halloween costumes.
