John D. Velez, Age 55. Beloved husband of 35 years to Mercedes. Loving father of John and Lissette. Cherished son of Pedro and Angela. Dear brother of 9 and devoted uncle to a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service Wednesday, February 25 10:00am at Lawrence Funeral Home 4800 N. Austin Ave. (at Lawrence Ave.). Interment Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 4:00 until 9:00pm.
