Hanley Josephine Alice nee Callaghan, age 67. Born in Newport, County Mayo Ireland to the late Francis Callaghan and Josephine McGuire. In 1965 Josephine immigrated to the U.S.A. Josephine passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 following a hard fought battle with cancer. Loving wife of Robert Hanley, cherished mother of Brian and Matthew, beloved sister and sister -in-law of Patrick, Francis (Yoit), Mary (John) McKevitt, Sean (Debbie) Callaghan, Tom (Judy) Hanley and John Hanley, caring grandmother of Erin, Zoey and Darlene, loving aunt of Joseph, Kerry, Patrick, John, Meghan, Caitlin, Brigit, Lauren, Merleann, Laura, Tom Jr., Mike, Kelly, Mike (Irene) and Donna.  Josephine will truly be missed by many family and friends. Visitation Sunday, December 9, from 4-9 p.m.; funeral prayers Monday, December 10, 9:15 am at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago.
