IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Julio
Roldan
August 17, 1939 – December 6, 2018
Julio Roldan, 79, passed away Dec. 6, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Dolores, née Flores; loving father of Miguel (Suzie), Socorro (Reyna), Lillian (Luis), Julio A. (Federica) and Yolanda (Christopher Strzalka); cherished grandfather of Alex, Vani, Chelsea, Frances, Tiffanie, Mikey, Jade, Jordan, Jared, Samuel, Natalia, Michael, Chalimar, Kamiley, Angie, Elizabeth and Jayvion; proud great grandfather of Nico, Sophia, Jake, Michael, Gemma, Luna, and Aleena.
Julio was a longtime resident of Chicago and could often be seen bustling around the city on his scooter, which he proudly rode as his favorite mode of transportation. He was a huge baseball fanatic and enjoyed watching any team play any time. Julio's main wardrobe consisted of camouflage and he possessed a various selection of MLB baseball caps. Always an impeccable gentleman, he took great pride in his appearance and was very mindful of good self-care. His fastidious daily workout routine included many miles on his treadmill and regardless of politics, he always maintained a strong sense of patriotism. Julio was passionate about his family and deeply loved. He will be profoundly missed and never forgotten.
