Lee J. Lode

Lee J. Lode, 77, loving husband of Patricia; devoted father of Richard (Cyndy) Lode and Christine (Robert) Otruba; cherished grandfather of Evelyn L., Chloe R., Eric L., Lee O., and Charlotte O.; treasured brother of John (Cathy) Lode and Don (Carol) Lode; uncle and grand uncle of many nieces and nephews; and friend and neighbor to many.

Lee found great joy in building model airplanes, a hobby that reflected his patience, creativity, and attention to detail. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family, creating lasting memories through laughter, love, and togetherness. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. with Service of Remembrance to begin at 3:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL 60630.

Memorial donations may be made in Lee’s memory to Brookfield Zoo or The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.
