Leokadia Kakel passed away peacefully March 15, 2022 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Frank; loving mother of Elizabeth (Edward) Kurzeja; cherished babcia of Rene Kurzeja Moran, Edward (Amanda) Kurzeja, and Julie (Jeremy) Boldt; proud great-grandmother of Alexander, Evan, Anthony, Henry, Casey. Will be missed by many. Visitation Wednesday, March 23 from 9 AM until time of prayers     10:30 AM at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave. Chicago. Procession to St. Constance Church for 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
