Lydia Reyes Camacho, age 99; beloved mother of Thelma Stoever, Helen (Carmen) Augelli and the late Lorna Camacho; cherished grandmother of Susan (Matthew) Vinson, Elizabeth (Chris) Toth, Monica (Mamlook) Jendo and Henry Stoever; great-grandmother of Annabel, Gabriel, Philip, Emily, Arbella, and Ashur; loving sister and aunt to many. Lydia was the first in her family to immigrate to the United States, courageously arriving alone in 1971. She spent two years working tirelessly to prepare for her husband and children to join her, beginning a legacy of strength, sacrifice, and love.

Lydia will Lie in State on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church 4646 N. Austin Ave. in Chicago from 9 a.m. until the Mass is celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, a donation in Lydia's name to the American Red Cross would be appreciated.
