Marcin Koziarski

Z głębokim żalem, ale i z wdzięcznością za wspólnie przeżyte chwile, zawiadamiamy, że w dniu 13 stycznia 2026 roku odszedł od nas śp. Marcin Koziarski.

Ukochany ojciec Maxa i Alexa, były mąż Agnieszki, brat Roberta (Beaty), Andrzeja (Dominiki) i Wojciecha (Agaty), syn śp. Haliny i Zygmunta Koziarskich, zięć Wiery i Edwarda Szulczewskich.

Żeglarz i pasjonat żeglarstwa. Był prezesem Polish American Sailors Association, która organizuje Polonia Cup Regata. Był Kapitanem US Coast Guard Auxiliary. Został wybrany na stanowisko Vice Komandora w Joseph Conrad Yacht Club i był członkiem Polish Yacht Club Chicago i Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club.

Pozostawił po sobie wspomnienia, które na zawsze pozostaną w naszych sercach. Odszedł cicho i nagle, lecz miłość i dobro, które nam dał, będą z nami na zawsze.

Pożegnanie odbędzie się w poniedziałek, 19 stycznia, w godzinach od 16:00 do 21:00 w Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL 60630. Msza Święta żałobna zostanie odprawiona we wtorek, 20 stycznia, o godzinie 10:00 w kościele St. Constance, 5843 W. Strong St., Chicago, IL 60630. Pochówek nastąpi na cmentarzu All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016.

With deep sorrow, but also with gratitude for the moments we shared together, we announce that on January 13, 2026, our beloved Marcin Koziarski passed away.

A devoted father of Max and Alex, former husband of Agnieszka, brother of Robert (Beata), Andrzej (Dominika), and Wojciech (Agatha), son of the late Halina and Zygmunt Koziarski, and son in law of Wiera and Edward Szulczewski.

Sailor and sailing enthusiast. He served as President of the Polish American Sailors Association, which organizes the Polonia Cup Regatta. He was a Captain in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was elected Vice Commander of the Joseph Conrad Yacht Club and was member of Polish Yacht Club Chicago and Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club.

He leaves behind memories that will remain in our hearts forever. He passed away quietly and suddenly, but the love and kindness he gave us will stay with us always.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL 60630. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 20, at 10:00 AM at St. Constance Church, 5843 W. Strong St., Chicago, IL 60630. Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016.
