Mary G. Marinoff, nee Fox, 82, of Chicago, passed away July 31, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Stefan; loving mother of Anna (Stan) Pitak, Jean (the late Leon) Lisitza, Eva Thomason, Vera (John) Limberopoulos and George Marinoff; cherished grandmother of Steven and David Pitak, Richard, Christopher and James (Angelina) Lisitza, Samantha (Ryan) Garcia and Ava and Stefan Marinoff; dearest great grandmother of Diego, Lydia and Chase; dear sister of Helen Riley, Jeannette St. George, Rev. Martin Fox, Alice (Bill) Scofield, Jerome Fox and the late Peter (the late Judy) Fox and Elizabeth (the late Phillip) DeFilippo; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary was an active member of St. Bartholomew Parish for more than 50 years. She was a lover of art, nature and an avid reader. A true caregiver, Mary always considered the needs of others and served her community throughout her life. Visitation Thursday, Aug. 2 nd , 3 – 9 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago. Friends and family will meet at St. Bartholomew Church, 3601 N. Lavergne Ave., Chicago on Friday, Aug. 3rd for visitation at 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment private at St. Mary Cemetery in Stockbridge, Wisconsin at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
