Peter W. Mateja, 73, of Chicago; beloved husband of Lorraine; loving father of Sherry (Jerry) Koogler and Steven (Cheli); cherished grandfather of five. Visitation Wednesday, September 2 from 4 – 9 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, with a funeral service beginning at 7 p.m. Interment private.
