Remedios Abadilla Esquieres, age 80, of Chicago and formerly of Malate, Manila, Philippines passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2020. Beloved wife of Francisco Esquieres; loving mother of Ana Esquieres and Jose Esquieres; cherished daughter of the late Quirico and the late Mercedes Carmona Abadilla; dear sister of the late Pacita (the late Amando) Kapauan; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Remedios was a long time parishioner of St. Margaret Mary, Chicago, was a former leader of the Heart of the Spirit prayer group and CCD teacher.  She loved pilgrimage travel, almost as much as children and animals. Remedios will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Visitation Thursday 4PM to 9PM at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N Austin Ave, Chicago. Funeral Mass Friday 10AM at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 2324 W Chase Ave #1, Chicago, IL 60645. Interment at Maryhill Cemetery.
