Robert F. Schmidt, 90, (Ret. CPD) of Chicago IL, passed away on July 23, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Bernadette (nee Dziedzic) over 63 years; devoted father of Noreen (Craig) Heffernan and Roberta (Anthony) Marchiori; cherished Dziadzia of Anthony R. Marchiori and Anastasia (Michael) Rice; treasured  brother of Arlene (Eugene) Czarnik; treasured brother-in-law of Virginia (the late Charles) Lynch; loving uncle and godfather of many; and lifelong friend in Christ of Fr. Augustine Serafini.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL.
