Obituary

Robert A. Valentino, 70, loving husband of 35 years of Karen; devoted father of Anthony (Emily) Valentino and Megan (Michael) Kurotobi; cherished brother of the late Larry Valentino; loving son of Dorothy and the late Robert; brother-in-law of Karen Valentino; and beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a valued and integral part of the Apex Insurance family for many years. He loved attending Cubs games and was a season ticket holder with the Black Hawks for 11 years. Bob spent his time away from work traveling with his family, attending concerts at Ravinia, and Cubs and Hawks games as well. He was the loudest cheerleader and personal chauffer for all of his children's sporting events as they grew up. Bob was a devoted father and husband, he will be deeply missed. The Valentino family would like to extend a personal thank you to Dr. Steven Pearlman and to Rainbow Hospice for their excellent care.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Chicago Police Memorial Fund or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in Bob's memory.
