Ronald "Ron" Kruzel, 71, devoted father of Jim (DeAnna) Kruzel, Robert (Jamie) Kruzel, and Lisa (Jonathan Potochney) Kruzel; treasured grandpa of Joseph Kruzel; dear friend and mother of his children Rosemarie "Rosie" Lodl; beloved brother of the late Joseph Kruzel, Tom Kruzel, Cathy Yuknis, and Chrissy Rosa; uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews; and friend of many.

Ron had many hobbies over the years, his children fondly remember his open road rides on his Harley, love of trains, playing the drums, and interest in ancient Egyptian history. He was such a fan of "Jeopardy" that he even tried out for the show. Ron was also a proud US Postal worker for over 42 years and was a mail carrier the entire time.

Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be a chapel service the same evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL 60630.
