Sabina Valadez nee Lopez, age 90, of Chicago, IL passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Beloved mother of the late James, the late Richard (Gail), Paul (Marie), Louis C.F.D. Retired (Theresa), the late Edward, Francis C.P.D (Lara) and Monica (Scott) Michalski; loving daughter of the late Benito and the late Cenobia Lopez; cherished grandmother of Rachel, James, Christopher, Richard, Shaun, Justin C.P.D, Yesenia, Francis and Jacob; proud great grandmother of Caiden, Christina, Edgar, Joanna, Adrian; dear sister of Boniface, Lino, Fr. Angel, Martin, Petra, Leonard, Guadalupe, Joseph, Robert and Mary; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Sabina was a long time parishioner at St. Robert Bellarmine. She was a great cook who put love into everything she made. Some of her family's favorites were her rice, fideo, avena and chile.

Her heart had room for everyone she met, always lending a compassionate ear and making sure no one did without.

Her large and extended family was everything to her and of all the roles her absolute joy was being Grandma Bina.

A private visitation and service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. A video recording of services will be posted after services have concluded.
