Sandra L. Prince, née Ursini, of Wilmette, IL., was a caring mother, wife, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on September 24, 2023 at age 81. She was the beloved wife of Paul Prince, who preceded her in death on December 14, 2021; loving mother of Lawrence Bennington (Manya) Jackson and of Kelly Evers Jackson. Sandra was predeceased by her siblings Gary and Patricia and her parents Lawrence Ursini and Louise Ursini, née Farace.

Born in Connecticut, Sandy completed her Bachelor's at Marymount College, Tarrytown, New York, graduating in June 1964 with a major in mathematics and minor in secondary education. Sandy maintained a passion for knowledge and spirited competition throughout her life. She was an active member of her neighborhood community, and loved to entertain and feed (everyone!). As an educator, Sandy helped many students achieve their goals in mathematics. Ultimately, her focus was on the people in her life. She will be missed deeply by many.

Sandy will be honored in a celebration of her life on October 8, 2023. Visiting hours are from 3 - 6 p.m., with a memorial service and speakers at 4 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL 60630.
