Sofia Flores, age 90, of Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood and formerly of Tocoa, Colón, Honduras, passed away on June 7, 2025.

Born to the late Prudencia Padilla and Dionisio Flores.

Beloved mother of Maura Romero, Luis Alonso (Norma) Barahona, Delma Maribel Barahona, and the late Victor Ramon Barahona.

Cherished "Bula" of Luis Alonso (Vanessa) Barahona Jr., Victor Alexander Barahona, Delma Estefania Juarez, Edwin Daniel Slivon, and Jasmin Carolina (Osvaldo) Estrada.

Treasured great-"Bula" of Jariel, Luis III, Jayleen, Jovanny, Lianna, Jayden, and Adrian.

Loving sister of Hilda (the late Trino Ortiz) Padilla. Dear aunt of Joaquin, Sonia, Jorge, and Renee. A friend to many.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 10, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL 60630.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14, at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 4432 N. Troy St., Chicago, IL 60625.
