Stanley R. Szafranski, age 88, of Chicago, husband of the late Ann, nee Szolo; father of Phillip (Jeanne); brother of Charlotte (Al) Szik and the late Eddie (the late Lois); grandfather of Dana; uncle of many nieces and nephews; cherished friend of Rita and many others. He passed away on January 27, 2013 in Rita's arms at Edward Hines V.A. Hospital in Maywood. Funeral Saturday 9:30 A.M. at St. Monica Church 5135 N. Mont Clare, Chicago for Mass of Christian Burial.
