Thomas Henry McNichols, Jr. age 63, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away, Sunday, February 26, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Henry McNichols, Sr. and Rosemary McNichols. Beloved husband of 37 years to Guadalupe (nee Rabor) McNichols. Loving Father to Sofronio R Samson III and Sonia C. Samson, Dennis McNichols, Jennifer R. McNichols, Thomas A. McNichols and his fiancee Brenda Munoz. Cherished Grandfather to Nathaniel Samson, Kyle Samson, Jaylien McNichols, Brandon Samson, Sabrina McNichols, Scarlett Flores, and Genevieve McNichols. Brother to Jim, Mike, and Christine McNichols. He graduated from Amundsen High School and received his BA degree in Accounting from DePaul University. He passed the CPA and received his Masters degree from Northwestern University.  He worked for the RTA and was the CFO of PACE, Near North National Insurance and Schwartz Brother Insurance. He was a Loyal Chicago Sports Fan and had the joy of seeing his beloved Cubs win the World Series. He was a recent retiree of Ruskin, Florida. He loved fishing, reading, learning, laughing, and would help anyone in need. Visitation Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5 from 4 to 9 pm; Funeral prayers Monday 10:15 am at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago.
