William A. Andronowitz, "Bill", of Chicago, IL, age 91, passed away peacefully on June  23, 2023.

William was born in Chicago on May 30, 1932. He graduated from Lane Technical High School and continued his education at DePaul University where he earned a degree in Accounting. Following college, he served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany.

William was married to the love of his life, Lorraine Cudzich, on June 12, 1954 and was married for 43 years until her passing.

William was employed as an accountant and computer analyst and he retired from the Chicago Stock Exchange. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with family. In his early years he was an avid trumpet player and was honored to play while in the military. He was a long-time parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.

He is survived by his children Robert (Patti Paiz) Andronowitz, Susan Andronowitz, Nancy (James) Cocalis; grandchildren, Ashley Andronowitz, Jessica Andronowitz, James Cocalis Jr., John Cocalis; sister-in-law, Pauline Andronowitz and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

William is preceded in death by his beloved wife Lorraine, parents Wassily and Katarina (nee Sprincz) Andronowitz, brother Joseph Andronowitz, sister and brother-in-law Chester and Delores Rebak, and mother-in-law Bessie (Cudzich) Korolovich.

The family of William Andronowitz would like to thank Norwood Crossing for the care given at the end of his life.

Visitation Thursday, June 29 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL 60630. Friday, June 30, 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Christian Burial, St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church with interment to follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, Niles, IL.
